This page explains what data PublicWall stores, why it is stored, and what to do if you need help with content on the site.
What We Store
We store search request logs with timestamp, IP address, identifier type, and normalized identifier key. We also store comments submitted by users, including timestamp, IP address, identifier type, and key. Comment text is limited by the application to short public notes.
Why We Store It
We use this data to operate search and result pages, display user-submitted comments, enforce anti-abuse protections, and apply rate limits (for example, search request limits per IP).
Anti-Abuse And Security Checks
To reduce spam, comment forms use CAPTCHA and additional checks such as minimum form time and hidden honeypot fields. Search requests are also rate-limited. These controls help keep the service available and usable for normal visitors.
Public Nature Of Content
Notes published on PublicWall are public by design. Do not post passwords, payment details, private addresses, or other sensitive information. If you submit a comment, assume it may be visible to anyone who opens that identifier page.
Accuracy And Responsibility
Public comments are user-generated. PublicWall does not guarantee that every post is true, complete, or current. Use your judgment, verify critical information independently, and rely on official channels when a situation requires it.
